Skin Care Routine

makeup remover cleanser toner AHA BHA Retin A Acne Anti Winkle Creams Don’t forget to check the pH of liquid exfoliants. Remember no true wrinkle cream exists that will get rid of wrinkles, if they did no one would have wrinkles and botox/fillers/face lifts, etc…would be out of business. Don’t buy bottle antioxidant creams/lotions/serums as they are effected by light and you’ll end up throwing your money way.

Love your videos! I work for a dermatologist, and you’re right about not putting moisturizers on acne-prone skin. Also don’t use hair conditioner near the hairline or bangs; it can cause breakouts. Cutting back on dairy products may be helpful, also.

    Hello!
I work for a dermatologist and moisturizers are not good for acne-prone skin, same thing with hair conditioner: don’t use them on bangs or near the hairline, just near the ends of the hair. Cutting back on dairy products can be helpful also.

Is there anything you can use to reduce or eliminate milia’s (white heads). I have lots just beneath my eyebrows. If it was just a few I’d have a dermatologist remove them by lansing them but I have so many. Your videos are amazing. Thank you for all the great makeup and skin care tips.

Ive used Skinceuticals vitamin C serum and I saw a big improvement in my skin! So expensive though!

I love your videos, they are very informative. I have combination skin and acne prone, I find it very difficult to find a sunscreen that doesnt clog pores. And so I’m wondering which oil make up remover and sunscreen do you use? I’m asking for a specific brand. Thanks :)

  • VenusSatanas:

oh dang im gonna try mineral oil for my eye makeup! thanks for the tip

  • sondarah:

@VenusSatanas Works perfectly for me, and soooo cheap!

  • sondarah:

@MrRaimundo777 I’ve heard the same thing about toners balancing out the pH in skin. Hmmm…not really sure what unbalanced skin looks like or how to verify the pH in my skin. So…what to do? LOL

  • MsImjustsaying:

I couldn’t agree with you more!! I have oily, acne prone skin. In the AM I wash face, apply salicylic acid then sun block. In PM I remove make up, wash, (sometimes mud mask or granular scrub if long hot day) then salicylic acid and apply light water based moisturizer. I like you a lot. You know your stuff.

  • devinebitch:

do the aha and bha’s work if there in a toner

  • stopdreamingkid:

Um, what PRODUCTS do you use?

  • medosin:

Have you heard of micro needling? this is the only thing that has finally helped me with rough skin texture. I also only use a sunscreen (mineral) for day and I bought a lifeguard hat for extended periods in the sun. I use retin-a every other night, mask (papaya enzyme) and steam about once a week and have a clarisonic. People always think I’m under 25. Cheers to good advice!

I don’t know and I haven’t done any research about it, but I do believe there are some ingredients that can prevent “more” wrinkles. Of course those this-cream-is-better-than-botox ads are not true, it’s called advertising. But you’re saying that they don’t do anything, and I kinda (because I like to give the benefit of the doubt, always) don’t believe in that. But as I said, I haven’t done any research about this, it’s just my humble opinion. :)

  • rizlisha:

OMg thats soo true if you leave your make up you get under eye bags…i stopped wearing waterline Khol eyeliners because of that now i hardly have any.

  • maricris824:

what i would like to know are the products you use for your skin!

  • Camisnuppa:

@sondarah It’s true. If your using a cleansing milk, toners need to be used after because the cleansing milk gives you a pH your skin shouldn’t have. ;) It’s good becuse then you can rub the cleansing milk (or anything else) of with the toner, without using water, because water dehydrates the skin and makes it dryer.

  • leendizzy23:

I’m glad you stated the fact that people with oily skin don’t need moisturizer!! I have combo/oily & have NEVER used moisturizer in my life! I get breakouts on my chin every once in a while, but other than that, my skin is fine. I don’t feel my skin has every been “thirsty” for more moisture than it already naturally produces. THANK YOU again for confirming what I thought to be true! :)

  • Nelalipe:

    love it! ;)

  • kristelecom:

@AnanyaVilas Retin A (tretinoin) isn’t stable in the presence of benzoyl peroxide. I think it oxidizes it. There are some forms of retinol though, like Differin (adapalene), that are fine with benzoyl peroxide.

  • colorizeyou:

what cleanser do you recommend for dry sensitive skin?
