Love the videos! Can you do something for thin skin with surface redness? I love your shirt and tie.

acne since I work and go to school full-time. i dont drink milk since it does makes it worse, or chocolatte, pizza, butter, mayo, sugar, coffee ( I am a daily coffee drinker and trying to quit to see if it works). i just recently started changing my pillow more often, yet i am kind of

losing hope. I mean Ive tried birth control pills, proactiv, antibiotics, prescribed lotions and creams, any overthecounter products you could think of. well anyways acne has affected my emotional life significantly since Ive become very selfconcious and insecure. Even if a guy tries to talk to me I pretty much run away cause i dont want him looking at my pimples. I will though go to dermatologist and try to use accutine very soon.. my only hope.. Thanks for the helpful tips

  • Dianisflorez:

I currently have acne right now. I’ve had acne ever since I was 12, and I’m sixteen now. It didn’t really get that bad until the summer of last year, and my doctor prescribed me doxycyclin. For a while it worked. And then it stopped, and my acne flared up again. I’ve tried everything, differin, benzaclin, countless others.

  • noellehedlund:

Currently my dermantologist prescribed me Retin A and another antibiotic, but I’m unsure if it will work. I wanted to go on Accutane, but he wants to see if this will work. Thank you so much for making this video. I want to get into modeling, but this acne is preventing me from being able to get a good shoot. I always look forward to watching your videos, and you have such good advice and information. Thank you so much!

    wow your skin is clear…

  • metchick02:

I continue to have blackheads on my t-zone but no other problems with my skin. I am stuck because I would like to start an anti-aging routine for my face but I want the black heads gone first. Do you have any ideas or tips on how to go about this?

  • TheSublimeAgent:

@metchick02 In your case, its all about exfoliating. But try the harsh cleansing routine that I discuss in my ‘how to cleanse your face properly’ video. This should solve your problem…and we can start worrying about anti-aging :D

For me personally, it’s the cow’s milk.. and then I change my diet by eating clean and take supplements like probiotic.. and it turned my skin around and everything started to clear and the hormonal acne scars I had started to fade.. and I got a lot of complements on how I turn it around.. Of course, the 3 step systems.. and I don’t use much make up anymore.. Anyway, good luck to those who still have acnes.. hope it clears.. Btw am in my late 30s.. and feeling great!

  • Paradigm715:

I’ve been going to the dermatologist to get treatment for my acne for about two years,I’ve tried the erythromycin and the (ro)accutane. Neither have worked as well as using loads of benzoyl peroxide (the treatment described at acne[dot]org),in three months that have more or less made my acne vanish.

  • cline1504:

your videos are so helpful!! thank you! my goal is to have a skin as beautiful as yours!!

  • seashell8596:

I break out b/c of stress and bacteria. I’ve started to change my pillowcase/towel regularly, and removing my make up at night with olive oil, then wiping it with a tissue. Then use Cerave cleanser.(If im lazy, I use L’oreal 360 sensetive cleanser b/c the scrubbie agitates/lifts the makeup) Then I use Loreal Refreshing toner, followed by Ambi to combat the scarring. I also use sunscreen daily. On a spot, I use Zap Zit. Trial and error w/ products & hygiene has cleared up my skin.

  • justinneangeline:

Thanks for this video. There are a lot of people who struggle so much from acne to the point that it greatly affects their self-confidence. I believe that knowledge empowers people and by providing people with this information, you have helped many.

  • LynnZeeIVXX:

This is kind of a weird story, but… I was getting really bad cystic breakouts on my chin (mostly) and acne all over my face. I had never really broken out much my whole life, just one or two pimples. I recently kicked a habit of drinking energy drinks and my skin improved dramatically. Both the energy drinks and my multivitamin were giving me a huge excess of vitamin B and it was causing my cystic acne. Now I just use some benzoyl peroxide at night to maintain, and its all good now.

  • tedoymisojos:

MAkes mewonder how people controlled acne before the rise of skincare…

  • lunidesu:

oh my gosh your skin is just FLAWLESS! so are your eyebrows! if i had skin like yours id probably never wear anything but mascara and eyeliner ever again. what do you have on your skin is this video?

  • imaMiLFohyes:

This was extremely helpful! I honestly you were speaking to me at the end! I’ve had acne since I was 13 (now 23) so I had a friend visit from Nigeria and he was only in town for a few days but my acne really started to go crazy around the same time. I didnt even want him to see me it was horrible I felt awful so thats when I decided to take matters into my hands and see a dermatologist! They prescribed retin A, benzaclin and adoxa. Its only been a few days, keep your fingers crossed = ]

  • hoangtuso2:

For me, I changed and watched my diet, low sugar uptake, more fruit and vegies, lots of water, take vitamins, exfoliates my skin with apricot scrub twice/week, using Roc lotion to hydrate my skin. My skin now is much better than before but still have acne scar left over. I still have acne every now and then but not as severe and more under control. All these lifestyle changes took me 2 years to see the effects but it last longer than any other topical treatment i have used.

  • lovable66:

    your skin is flawless

  • MissDa255:

thanks for all the advice it was very helpful, I used accutane 4 years ago and it was the best treatment ever. However, I started getting whiteheads and red inflamed acne after those 4 years. Right now i’m using Retin A for about 4 it was working well until i started getting red inflamed pimples out of no where. Do you have any idea if silicon can cause breakouts, I noticed that this whole breakout cycle started after using silicon drops.
