What are some good over the counter and home treatments for psoriasis??

I have little patches of psoriasis on my elbows and one of my knees. I use some topical creams right now containing either coal tar or salicylic acid.

Salt water ( the ocean for example), direct sunlight (outdoors or tanning bed), and any topical creams given by your doctor.

I have partner up with a company, Melaleuca The Wellness Company. They have the best lotion, Renew, for dry skin like psoriasis. In a recent study Renew was better than the prescribed cremes you got from the doctors. I had a friend that took Renew for just 3 days and her dry spots went away. Anything you use on the outside of your body is merely a bandaid. You need to treat psoriasis from within. It is an auto-immune deficiency that can be addressed with a product that is an all natural adaptogen. Meaning it removes acid from your blood and restores alkalide.

I have found the arbonne baby care system works wonderfully for psoriasis. These are all natural. Even some dermatologist recommend them. I would be glad to send you some samples.

I suffer with extreme psoriasis and i find that the best treatments are sunlight (a weekly trip 2 a tanning studio), bathing in salts especially from the red or black sea, moisturising cream which i use twice a day and most importantly being happy. In my case doctors tried everything from acupuncture 2 funny Chinese meds.

Stress and depression plays a big part in my flare ups when i feel great my psoriasis great. When i have 2 much with work or personal stuff it gets really bad.

With creams and stuff only you can try them out.
    Different stuff helps different people.
