veltin acne topical cream and birth control?

I am taking Yaz birth control and have heard that certain antibiotics weaken the BC. I was prescribed Veltin by my dermatologist. It is a topical cream that I put on my face every night. One of its active ingredients is clindamycin phosphate 1.2%. This is an antibiotic. Will it make my BC less effective?

What is a good foundation for really acne-prone skin and extremely dry skin?

I have the driest skin ever. I have medicated moisturizer from a dermatologist. If I don’t wear it, my face will completely dry up and crack through layers of skin. The only problem is that I also am really prone to acne. I use a cream acne wash from Neutrogena. I need suggestions for foundation, moisturizers, and tips for natural ways to fix this.

Is a dermatologist my best bet to cure my acne?

I have suffered from this condition for years. It is too disgusting. I refused to take pictures, I can’t force myself to smile, I have tried everything it simply does not work. I can not deal with it. I am at the end of my rope. I really can not afford to go to a dermatologist if it does not help!
