Acne treatments that are ok to take while on birth control?

I am planning on starting to take birth control soon(most likely nuva ring), and I can’t take the acne medication I am currently on because it might interfere. I think I will wait a while and see if the hormones in the birth control help control my acne, but in case they don’t, could someone please suggest some acne medications that would be ok to take while on the nuva ring or any other birth control?

What is the best and fastest way to heal a cold sore?

I got a cold sore last week, and I took this (prescription) medication for it called "Valtrex". I’ve also been using a topical cream (also prescription) called Zofirax.

It’s beginning to dry up, but I feel like the healing process is almost more obvious than before.

Is there any way for it to peel off or dissolve quickly? Any tricks you know for speeding up the process or for covering it up?

Thanks!

What is the best way to cure acne (white heads and black heads)?

I have had problems for the last couple of years with white heads and black heads on my face and zits on my legs and back. Anyone have a solution to this? I am currently on medication for anxiety disorder and cannot take the medication the dermatologist gave me so i’m looking for another way of getting rid of it. Proactiv does not work on me.

Should I stop using a topical acne medication if my face has become dry?

Lately I have been using topical acne treatment where the main parts of my acne were (T-zone), and after about a week of using the medication, the acne has significantly cleared up. Even though, every time I wash my face I can see that the places where I used the medication have become dry and somewhat flakey. Seeing this I used a acne-preventing moisturizer and that helps during the day but my skin is still dry after I wash it. Should I still continue this routine?
