veltin acne topical cream and birth control?
I am taking Yaz birth control and have heard that certain antibiotics weaken the BC. I was prescribed Veltin by my dermatologist. It is a topical cream that I put on my face every night. One of its active ingredients is clindamycin phosphate 1.2%. This is an antibiotic. Will it make my BC less effective?

Can the people around me catch my Staph Infection by air?
I went to the doctor today for a staph infection. It has NOT progressed to MSRA and i got a topical cream and oral antibiotics that i just started taking today. i have it completely covered with bandaids and i was wondering if my family would still be able to catch it by air? i dont want everyone in my house to have it.

How should I take Horse Chestnut?
I noticed I have a few spider veins and I’d like to quickly eliminate them. I’ve read and heard that Horse Chestnut extract has compounds that promote better circulation and strengthen the veins to get rid of spider/thread veins. However, I find two forms to take Horse Chestnut: cream and oral supplements. Which would be more effective to eliminate these pesky veins, the topical cream or oral supplement?

How do I remove the bump that forms after a piercing?
I got my industrial piercing done a month or so ago and a bump just recently formed around one of the holes. I got an infection, so I’ve been applying topical cream but nothing’s happening. I’m currently trying polysporin but I don’t see any change. Could you suggest any ways I could get rid of it? Iodine, perhaps?
